New Version of Packet Tracer Available (PT 5.0)
Cisco has announced that new version of Packet Tracer is available – Packet Tracer 5.0:

Many improvements and features are available:
- Linux version (Ubuntu, Fedora)
- open development API for Flash Action Script and C++ (according to Jozjan’s post)
- multiuser functionality (group and individual labs, homework, competitions, collaborative construction of virtual networks over a real network)
- additional protocol support: SSH, IPv6, ICMPv6, multi-area OSPF, route redistribution.
- Interface range command is available
- improved support for Frame Relay
- multilayer switch is available (3560)
Annoying sound effects are still turned on by default when you open PT for the first time, but luckily it can be disabled
