Many improvements and features are available:

  • Linux version (Ubuntu, Fedora)
  • open development API for Flash Action Script and C++  (according to Jozjan’s post)
  • multiuser functionality (group and individual labs, homework, competitions, collaborative construction of virtual networks over a real network)
  • additional protocol support: SSH, IPv6, ICMPv6, multi-area OSPF, route redistribution.
  • Interface range command is available
  • improved support for Frame Relay
  • multilayer switch is available (3560)

Annoying sound effects are still turned on by default when you open PT for the first time, but luckily it can be disabled :D .
