Routing protocols and concepts summary ~ BSCI

Found this helpful quick reference guide (BSCI summary at A Networker Blog) for routing protocols and concepts.

Topics covered:

  • Routing protocols description and comparison (RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP)
  • IP addressing scheme (Subnetting, VLSM, CIDR, Route Summarization, etc.)

Although this summary is made for a CCNP-level reader, I’m using it only as a quick reference guide for routing protocols – primarily for RIP, EIGRP and single area OSPF. As you may know, those routing protocols are covered in the CCNA curriculum.  At the moment I’m preparing for my CCNA exam so this summary will be very handy. Wish me luck – I’m taking the exam at the end of this month. :)
